By using this website, you agree to use it lawfully and not attempt to disrupt, damage, probe, or gain unauthorized access to the website, private records, or accounts.

Submitting a nomination does not guarantee assistance, create a contract, or entitle any person to payment. The board reviews every nomination and decides whether and how Nominate A Veteran can help. Eligibility and discharge status are reviewed case by case.

You agree to provide information that is accurate to the best of your knowledge. When you submit information about another person, you confirm that you have a reasonable basis to do so and that the veteran is aware of the nomination unless you are nominating yourself.

We may request a DD-214, valid identification, phone conversations, estimates, or other records. A background check may be conducted, and a criminal record may disqualify a nominee. We may decline, pause, or close a nomination when information cannot be verified, resources are unavailable, or assistance would be unsafe or outside our mission.

Nominate A Veteran does not pay cash directly to a veteran. When assistance is approved, we pay the contractor, vendor, or provider that solves the verified problem. Timing, scope, vendor selection, and payment remain subject to board approval and available funds.

You retain ownership of material you submit. If you give publishing permission, you grant Nominate A Veteran a nonexclusive, royalty-free permission to use, edit, reproduce, and share the approved story or photograph for charitable, educational, and fundraising purposes. We may decline to publish or remove material at any time.

Do not upload content you do not have the right to share. Sensitive verification documents remain private and are handled under our privacy policy.

Donations and event tickets are processed by Zeffy. Its terms and privacy practices apply to those transactions. Charitable deductions depend on applicable law and, for event tickets, may be limited to the amount paid above the fair market value disclosed for the event. Consult your tax adviser about your circumstances.

We work to keep information accurate and available, but website content may contain errors, become outdated, or be unavailable. Crisis and resource links are provided for convenience. Nominate A Veteran is not an emergency service, medical provider, legal adviser, financial adviser, or government agency.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, the website and its content are provided without warranties. Nominate A Veteran is not responsible for indirect losses arising from use of the website or outside services. We may update these terms, and the date above will show the latest revision.
